Seventeen year-old, Skyla Messenger has found herself lying on an altar as a sacrifice to the enemy.
Being an angel of the highest Nephilim order hasn’t been easy. Her first love has proved untrustworthy, the Sectors and the Fems see her as nothing more than a celestial pawn, and the dead girl she helped bring back to life has blackmailed her into relinquishing her boyfriend.
But, Skyla is determined to change all that. She’s decided to never trust Logan again, to turn the tables on the Sectors and Fems, and get dirt on Chloe to blackmail her into leaving Gage alone. Review:The Vincent Boys

Author: Abbi Glines
Buy it: Amazon Barnes&Noble
Summary (from Goodreads)
Being the good girl isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Ashton Gray has grown weary of playing the part to please her parents, and to be worthy of the town’s prince charming, Sawyer Vincent. Maybe That’s why she’s found herself spending time with Sawyer’s cousin, Beau, while he’s away for the summer camping with his family. Beau is nothing like her perfect boyfriend. He’s the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, dangerous in ways she’s only day dreamed about, and the one guy she should stay away from.

Beau never envied Sawyer his loving parents, his big nice home, or his position as quarterback. He loves him like a brother. Which is why he's tried everything in his power to keep his distance from Sawyer’s girlfriend. Even if he has loved her since the age of five, Ashton is Sawyer’s girl, so therefore she’s off limits. But when Sawyer leaves for the summer, Ashton, the one girl Beau would move Heaven and Earth for, decides she wants to get into trouble. Stabbing the one person who’s always accepted him and stood by him in the back, is the cost of finally holding Ashton Gray in his arms. Is she worth losing his cousin over?.... Hell Yeah.
My Review:
I think just saying that I loved it would be an understatement!  If you follow me on twitter you probably already know I couldn't put the book down!  I even attempted to put on my make-up while reading this book because I did not want to stop!!! This book had me hooked pretty much from page 1.  Okay so enough about my addiction to this book...now on to the Hotttt characters!
I could go on forever about Beau Vincent! His bad boyness will get any girl hooked! His and Ashton's relationships had amazing, perfect CHEMISTRY! He is everything you would expect the hot bad boy to be plus more!
I also loved all the childhood "flash backs" in this book.  It makes the love stories more in depth, and shows how Ashton and Beau's connection isn't just a fling!
5 Stars
okay so I was listening to this song this morning on the radio, and all I could think was The Vincent Boys!!! so I though I would share it with yall :)

Review: The Childe

Author: C.A. Kunz
Buy it: Amazon Barnes&Noble
Summary (from Goodreads)
Cat Colvin
Average Teenager?
Or Something Else Entirely?
Cat Colvin is pretty much your typical run-of-the-mill teenager. Sure, she’s taller than most girls, has a mane of fiery red hair that’s impossible to tame, is left-handed, and her eyes are two different colors, but that’s where the differences end . . . unless you include the minor detail of her slow transformation into a Childe.
High school can definitely be challenging, and for Cat it’s no different. This is especially true when she’s faced with the daunting task of trying to hide her budding Childe traits as they begin to reveal themselves at the most inopportune times. To make matters worse, her family is oddly dead set against Ryan, the boy she grows to like. But everyone has their secrets: is Ryan really what he seems to be, and what is Cat’s family not telling her?
The Childe is the first book in this coming-of-age fantasy series which follows Cat's life through the twists and turns toward finding out whom and what she really is. Come and take the plunge with Cat into a world filled with mystery, biting humor, and the paranormal.

My Review
This book has wonderfully complex characters and a world that's so intriguing and mysterious you wont be able to put the book down!

I will have to say the characters were my favorite part of the book! I love how Cat (the protagonist) is surrounded by a wonderful family and awesome friends that are supporting her.  This book is written in third person omniscient which was a little weird at first to read.  For me, it took some getting use to, but I am so glad it was written like that.  If the authors wouldn't have let me get into all the characters thoughts I wouldn't have had the chance to get to know how awesome they are, and also it's necessary because Cat is pretty oblivious.  I want to tell you all about the character's awesomeness, but I also want you to discover them for yourself!

Carol and Adam do a great job of enticing the reader! They give just enough of the plot, so the reader gets a taste of it, so they want more.  In no way is this book predictable!  I really liked this because sometimes readers can open the front cover and know what the ending is going to be, and The Childe is not like that!

just to add to all of that the cover is fantabulous and so are the illustrations throughout the book!

WARNING when you read this book your going to want to read book two immediately, but it's not out yet so patience is needed

5 Stars
