Hey Jadyn! Thanks for stopping by My Pathway to Books! No evil vampires followed you here, right?*glances over shoulder* I hope not...
Before we begin, Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?Sure - I'm Jadyn Pearle. I'm 17 years old, and a senior in high school. I hate the color pink. I am very capable of taking care of myself, and I don't need anybody to rescue me... My father and I have been hunting vampires together for the past 10 years, and it is my favorite thing to do! I have also been homeschooled for the past 10 years, until recently. Human interaction is not something I'm good at...
Do you have any other hobbies besides hunting vampires?I absolutely love music, and have even considered learning the guitar. But I could seriously listen to music all day, every day.
What has been your favorite vampire hunt? And Why?When I was 14... My dad and I were actually on our way to Eureka, California (there was a big coven of vampires there). And we went out of our way to go to Vegas, I had never been there before. My dad went to gamble and I was bored and alone. So I went to the hotel pool, it was about midnight. There was this really cute guy there, he was older, probably in his early 20's. Of course he didn't notice me. (Not from lack of trying).
So anyway - I was swimming, and in walks a vampire. The victim happens to be his sister. Of course he was unable to fight off the vamp. I took the cleaning net and shoved the wooden side into the vampire's heart. I saved his sisters life, and he kissed me on the cheek afterwards. I will never forget that.
At first you were slightly peeved at your dad for moving you to Miami, can you tell us why that is?I don't like to be close to people. As you see, death follows me around. Everybody I've ever cared for has died. I am always scared to let myself feel because of this. I didn't want to ever hurt like I did before... I really thought my dad understood. I felt like he was trying to force me into a normal life... Boy was he wrong...
You seem a little confused about your feelings towards a few guys…Can you give us some insight into your feeling for Beau and Jeremy?Beau is just this AMAZING guy. He's so lonely, and I WANT to like him as more than a friend. My heart breaks for him... But Jeremy, that boy *sigh*, he holds the keys to my heart.
What was your first impression of them?Well, the first time I met Beau, he spilt 32 ounces of Dr. Pepper on me... He was very mysterious, and his beauty was breathtaking. After seeing him again, I was immedietly attracted to him. I wanted to hang out with him more.
Jeremy... Augh... We didn't have a "good" first meeting. He made my heart speed up, in good and bad ways. I have never been so drawn to somebody, but I didn't want anything to do with him! His arrogance was a major turn off. Thankfully, he's gotten a bit nicer since that first meeting.
Who is the better kisser?Though Beau has had about 80 more years of practice, I'm going to have to say Jeremy. It's like his lips were made for me, and mine for him. *sighs dreamily* ... Beau isn't going to read this, right?
Have you made your decision yet?I have made my decision... Guess you'll find out in book two *wink*
Just for fun…
What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done in public? As you know, I'm not much of a girly girl. Well, Erica talked me into buy a pair of stilettos... Bad idea... I ended up twisting my ankle and fell into a guy holding a blue slushie. Erica helped me limp away with a big blue stain on my white dress... Jeremy still makes fun of me for it.
What is the best comeback you have ever given?Well, as you know, Tabatha is evil. In a million years, there is no way I could back at her for what she's done to me... But that doesn't mean I won't try...
Anyway, so Tabatha was explaining her 'grand plan', and she says to me, "Visualize this..." I'll spare you the gory details *cringes*. But, alast she says, "Can't you just see it?"... My response is, "I'm already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth"... She didn't think it was funny. *giggles* It was funny.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?Wow... I have everything I want. I love my old car, I finally have a real home... I would probably buy my dad a new car, his old truck is falling apart. Also, I've always wanted a Gibson Les Paul guitar (those are pretty pricy). I'd buy one and learn how to play... Maybe I'd even go to college. Jeremy has been trying to talk me into going with him.
Thanks Jadyn for stopping by! Hope to see you in book 2 of The Vampire Hunters Series soon ;)I hope you see me in book 2 as well! *figits thumbs nervously*
