Stacy Borel Spotlight

What happens when the man you thought was the one, ends up being the one that got away?
When Finley breaks her heart on graduation night, eighteen year old Emilyn is left alone to pick up the pieces of her life. After muddling through the next ten years-including immersing herself in a lifeless marriage-she is brought to her knees when she encounters Finley at her high school reunion. Long ago buried emotions and feelings bubble to the surface and when Finley kisses her, Emilyn flees the scene. Arriving home to find her husband in the arms of another woman, Emilyn is forced to return to her hometown and start again. But is it possible to start afresh when the past just won’t seem to let you go?
Finley has spent the ten years since high school focused on his career. As a songwriter, he has never had a problem getting women. But when he realizes that the woman he let go a decade ago could be his happy ever after, he decides to do whatever it takes to get her back. But are some hurdles too great to overcome?

So I loved this book and the writing style. Emilyn and Finley are each others "One that got away". We get to follow them as they meet back up 10 years later. I was hooked from page one and loved the different POV. Throughout the story we watch these to high school sweethearts cope with loss and heartbreak and help each other heal. This book is a great read that has some heartbreak but in the end there is a happy ending. I highly recommend you read this book.

About the author: I'm a Coast Guard wife and currently a stay at home mom. I want to be a nurse when I "grow up." My incredibly handsome husband and I have been married for 9 years and I have 2 amazing children that keep life interesting.
I am an obsessive reader. I go through 3-5 books a week on my Kindle and I whole-heartedly support my indie authors. After reading well over a couple hundred books this year, I decided I might give it a shot writing my own book. I dabbled with a few ideas and finally settled on a story I know I'd personally read and I began the journey of creating Ever Enough. I appreciate all the support I've been given by my family, friends, and fellow indie authors. You've all shaped my view on life and books and I'll be forever greatful!

  1. I made $20 for completing a 20 minute survey!

Guess what? This is exactly what major companies are paying me for. They need to know what their customer base needs and wants. So these companies pay millions of dollars every month to the average person. In return, the average person, like me and you, participates in surveys and gives them their opinion.
