The Wild Ones Review

Passion as hot as midnight in the South and love as wild as the horses they tame.

Camille “Cami” Hines is the darling daughter of the South’s champion thoroughbred breeder, Jack Hines.  She has a pedigree that rivals some of her father’s best horses.  Other than feeling a little suffocated at times, Cami thought she was pretty happy with her boyfriend, her life and her future.

But that was before she met Patrick Henley.

“Trick” blurs the lines between what Cami wants and what is expected of her.  He’s considered the “help,” which is forbidden fruit as far as her father is concerned, not to mention that Trick would be fired if he ever laid a hand on her.  And Trick needs his job.  Desperately.  His family depends on him.

The heart wants what the heart wants, though, and Trick and Cami are drawn to each other despite the obstacles.  At least the ones they know of.

When Trick stumbles upon a note from his father, it triggers a series of revelations that could ruin what he and Cami have worked so hard to overcome.  It turns out there’s more to Trick’s presence at the ranch than either of them knew, secrets that could tear them apart.
My Review- 5 Stars

What can I say? I love me some cowboy ;)
I mean seriously all you have to do is look at that cover to fall in love with this book...then you read it and the captivation begins.
I don't blame Cami...I'm not so sure how much attention I would be able to pay my boyfriend with that hotness around! Poor not as Hot boyfriend.

Anyway I will try to contain myself and talk about the book without the word Hot in every sentence but that will be quite difficult since that is what comes to mind when I think about The Wild Ones. HOTTTTTTTTT

I thought the plot was amazing!  I totally did not see the twist coming and it definitely gave the story more depth besides 'my daddy just doesn't want us together but we are attracted to each other' which I have nothing wrong with that, I just enjoy twistiness!

My only "complaint" was that I wish I could've seen Cami and Trick together more and I wish the story was longer, but I always wish M's stories were longer because I'm never ready for them to end which I guess should be counted as a positive.

I think Madly and Jackson will always be my favorites from M. but Cami and Trick were definitely awesome too!  The Wild Ones definitely stayed true to the promised SWOON of all of M. Leighton's books.  If ya like the Swoon you will love this book! :)

You want this book! so just go ahead and scroll on up and press those buy links!  This is one of M. Leighton's edgier books.  It is mature YA fyi! :)

How many times did you scroll up to look at that Hot cover while reading my review? Come on...I know you did it! While writing the review I scrolled up so many times I lost count!  That picture is just so....inspirational!
