Southpointe High is the last place Lucy wanted to wind up her senior year of school. Right up until she stumbles into Jude Ryder, a guy whose name has become its own verb, and synonymous with trouble. He's got a rap sheet that runs longer than a senior thesis, has had his name sighed, shouted, and cursed by more women than Lucy dares to ask, and lives at the local boys home where disturbed seems to be the status quo for the residents. Lucy had a stable at best, quirky at worst, upbringing. She lives for wearing the satin down on her ballet shoes, has her sights set on Juilliard, and has been careful to keep trouble out of her life. Up until now.

Jude's everything she needs to stay away from if she wants to separate her past from her future. Staying away, she's about to find out, is the only thing she's incapable of.

For Lucy Larson and Jude Ryder, love's about to become the thing that tears them apart.
My Review
This book is can't put down, knock your socks off good!!! It's one of those books that you keep hitting the 'next' button on even though you saw the words "the end" and then once you've come to the realization that it's over, you go and re-read it (or at least all of your favorite parts).  There is a reason we #NeedMoreJudeDude!  Because once I finished I craved more of him and stalked Nicole until Clash (book 2) was released. Then once I finished Clash I wanted to cry because there was no more jude dude :( This is why you need to go pick this book up right now because Jude is the kind of drug you want!

He first comes off as a major butt-hole hottie, but then as he works for a relationship with Lucy you see it was all just a facade.  He is exactly what Lucy needs and they challenge each other in ways they haven't before.  They also help each other heal because they both come in the relationship with a ton of baggage.  All the baggage REALLY tries to destroy them throughout the book and it's what makes the book so good to see them work through it all and sometimes fail at getting through it.

Crash is definitely one of my favorites of the year!  I loved it and would recommend it to anyone who loves an amazing Contemporary Romance.  Warning: you won't be able to put it down and you won't be able to stop re-reading it!

  1. I've been seeing this book everywhere! I have it on my kindle and have been dying to try it. I worry I'll hate Jude lol but everyone seems to warm up to him and enjoy his relationship with Lucy. Very curious to see how it plays out!
