But when a sports injury puts him on the sidelines, he's forced to return home. Seeing Briana again brings back a lot of memories, and Colin wonders if he made the right decision. It doesn't take long for him to realize he wants her back, and this time, he wants to make it last.

Review:

Okay, so I did these review out of order but this is the first book in the Friends & Lovers series. Like the second book, I really enjoyed this book. It was a great way to start the series.

The novel begins with a young Colin and Briana. Unfortunately, Colin is going to college and feels it would be best if he and Briana break up before he goes. What a way to start a romance, right?

So, Colin goes to college but four years later he finds himself injured from football and at home. He is brought face to face with Briana and is that regret he feels? Why, yes, it is. The funny thing is that they both have some of the same friends from high school so they have no choice but to hang out with one another.

As time goes on, Colin and Briana start to feel some of those old feelings for each other. A new romance blooms but they both have dreams they want to fulfill. Will they fit into each other's dreams especially if it comes to one of them moving again?

I really enjoyed this novel and would recommend it to everyone.
