Falling From Eternity Blog Tour

Megan Duncan YA Author
Falling From Eternity by Megan Duncan
 Goodreads | Amazon
Book Review:
For William, life was as wicked and malicious as the beast he was trying destroy. Decades spent living a life of extravagance, domination and ravenous hunger haunted him. But when you live forever, the past never stays buried. And that which wishes to control you, will never let you go. William thought he found his escape, his one and only love, but the thing he fears the most could be the only thing that saves them. Or, it could doom them all.

I refused to let her go.”

I knew that if I lost her I’d lose myself and there would be no turning back from that.

 Anna's Review:
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it for everyone to read especially if you like a good love story with some twists J

So William is a good vampire, who doesn’t want to live a life of savagery for all eternity. I love how you can tell he has a softer side by his feelings towards an elderly lady, Hazel. He really seemed to care for her and mourned her death when she died. It’s so sweet, I love it. This is how the book starts.

William works at the nursing and is really upset when they send another patient into Hazel’s room so quickly after her death. But, little does he know, it will be the best thing for him.

William is surprised to find a young girl, Autumn, in Hazel’s room.  Fortunately, William and Autumn take the time to get to know each and find that they like each other. Come to find out Autumn knew Hazel because Hazel took up time with her because Autumn is sick.

Now, William is facing challenges because he is fighting his vampire nature and he fights to save Autumn. Will he be able to help her? How will their relationship turn out? Well….read to find out.  It’s worth it J

P.S. Autumn’s favorite book was Where the Red Fern Grows. I used to love that. I cried every time I read it too.

Review: Madison by T.M. Knight

Madison by T.M. Knight
Goodreads | Amazon
I'm Taylor, and I'm just about to start my senior year of high school. What makes me special is my girlfriend, Madison. She's an actual angel. She can fly, she's super strong and she's nearly invulnerable. How do I feel about Madison? Most of the time I want to tear her clothes off, push her up against a wall and make her scream my name in ecstasy. Sometimes I just want to stare into her eyes. Into her soul. We have this perfect mix of love and sexual chemistry; a relationship for the ages. This is the story of how we met. Of how we fell in love. Of how my life changed forever.

Madison is a supernatural romance filled with tragedy, hope, espionage, sex, heartache and love.

For mature readers.

(Also published under the title: White Ops)

Review
Madison is a great paranormal romance full of action, adventure, and love!

The book is told in Taylor's, the boyfriend, point of view which was refreshing.  There aren't many male perspectives in this genre, and it gave the story a much different perspective.  The narrating is very interesting.  In some parts of the story, Taylor will get on a soap box and talk to the reader directly about his opinion on different things.  This made me feel closer to the story.   Taylor was also a great character.  He has witty humor and a courageous spirit.  He was an easy character to fall in love with.

I really like Madison's character.  She is the type of girl that goes after what she wants and doesn't take no for an answer.  Her supernaturalness gives her added responsibility, but she still has the attitude and wants of a teen.

Madison/ White Ops is a very fast paced novel.  There weren't any lulls in the story or times when I felt the story was dragging.  It kept my interest with every page.  This pace did make the romance feel a little too quick.  Madison and Taylor fall in love very quickly, but with the actions later in the book the quick love didn't feel fake.

I recommend this to any lovers of the genre especially if you're looking for a great book with suspense, drama and action scenes that will be painted in your mind.

*for mature readers

Sydney Myers has been through several failed relationships in the past year, in addition to several other trauma's, and is now giving up on finding her knight in dented armor. Timeless Blog Tour

Welcome to the Timeless Blog Tour! I'm really excited about being a part of this tour and I wanted to start off by saying Congratulations to Michelle Madow and her book deal with Harlequin Teen!  That's super exciting!
If you're just getting on this tour, make sure you go HERE for the schedule and go see the other stops!
Today you will find my This/That questions with main character, Lizzie, and check out the awesome giveaway!

Character This or That: Lizzie

Hot or Cold?
Hot! I really don’t like cold weather. (Which makes living in New Hampshire in the winter pretty rough!)

Morning or Night?
I’m a morning person. I have no problem getting out of bed when my alarm goes off (sometimes I even wake up five minutes before the alarm goes off.) I have trouble staying up late—I get so sleepy!

Jacob or Edward?
Edward. Jacob is too reckless for my taste, with all the motorcycling and cliff jumping.

Poptarts or Cereal?
Cereal, specifically Cheerios.

Hot Chocolate or Coffee?
Neither—my hot drink of choice is tea. I suppose if I had to choose it would be hot chocolate (if the chocolate wasn’t too strong), because the taste of coffee grosses me out.

Mountains or Beach?
Beach! I love quality beach time with my Kindle.

Dark Hair or Light Hair?
I’m partial to dark hair on guys

Fall or Spring?
Spring, because it means summer is approaching.

Christmas or Halloween?
Christmas—I absolutely love Christmastime! The evergreen trees, twinkling lights, and fun decorations make winter more enjoyable.

Thank you, Tess, for having me on Pathway to Books for the Timeless blog tour!

Summary of Timeless

IT'S A RACE AGAINST TIME.

In Remembrance, Lizzie and Drew changed the course of fate so they could be together.

In Vengeance, Chelsea set fate back on its original, deadly path.

Now, strange things keep happening to Lizzie. Things that are omens of darkness to come. A curse has doomed her to die an early death, just as she did in her past life. To make matters worse, even if she can figure out who cast the curse, it's irreversible. There's only one option left for her to save herself. It's crazier than anything she's heard yet, and to do it, she'll need Drew and Chelsea's help.

Because to make things right, they must go back to when it all began … and Lizzie discovers that the final events in her past life were more sinister than she ever imagined.

Timeless is the final part of the Transcend Time Saga.

The Transcend Time Saga is a Clean Romance suitable for anyone age 12 and up!

Quotes from Reviewers

"The combination of time travel, magic, and love makes Timeless an unforgettable page turner!"
-For Those About to Read

"Timeless had great twists, particularly towards the end. For something inspired by a Taylor Swift song, Michelle has come up with a great series!"
-Addiction to Words Reviews

"The Transcend Time Saga is a worthy rival of modern fairy tales. It has an essence of magic and spark that captivates you!"
-Becky's Barmy Book Blog

Review of Timeless *4 Stars

*may contain spoilers if you haven't read Remembrance or Vengeance*

Vengeance left me really excited because now FINALLY Lizzie and Drew get to be together! Except just like it says in the blurb, things keep happening to Lizzie that REALLY threaten future happiness.

I enjoyed the suspense that made me turn the page in Timeless as they were racing against time because if they didn't fix it then all the work previously would have been for nothing.

Timeless introduces more of the supernatural by coordinating Magic, Spells, Curses, and my favorite Time Travel.  Madow did a wonderful job with the Time Travel by explaining the period and making sure the language and customs were part of those scenes.  It definitely brought the characters back in time which made it interesting since they were use to their present mind sets.

Timeless was a great ending to this wonderful series that did not disappoint.  Lizzie, Drew, and Chelsea work to make the reincarnated love worth it!

About the Author

Michelle Madow was inspired to write Remembrance after seeing Taylor Swift's "Love Story" music video while a junior at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. The song and video gave her the story idea about a high school girl reincarnated from Regency Era, England. She handed in the first chapter as a homework assignment for class, and when her teacher and classmates wanted her to continue writing, she decided to go for it. By the end of the school year, her first novel was completed!

Michelle graduated from the Park School of Baltimore in 2005, where she always took two English classes each semester. She graduated from Rollins College in 2010, cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English. At Rollins she was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and a member of the International English Honor Society Sigma Tau Delta.

She received the Charles Hyde Pratt Award for Excellence in Creative Writing in 2010.

Michelle lives in Florida, where she is hard at work writing more novels for young adults.

Teaser from Dark Waltz by A.M. Hargrove

“Going somewhere?” that husky voice asked.

Crapitty crap!

She sucked in her breath and dropped her weapon, as his voice startled her. Before her brain could comprehend what was happening, she felt her body swirling through a vortex. She finally came to rest in another place.

Disoriented and dizzy, she tried to focus on her surroundings, but everything seemed to tilt sideways.  She reached out her hand to stop herself from falling, but only succeeded in grabbing a fistful of air.  Not knowing which way was up or down, she tried, unsuccessfully, to break her fall. Instead, she felt her breath leave her body in a whoosh as she slammed into the ground.

Fighting for oxygen, her diaphragm wouldn’t cooperate with her brain’s commands.  Worse yet, she felt a pair of hands latch onto her waist, drag her to her feet and ram her back into a wall.  Her head hung down as she fought to draw in precious oxygen, yet found she was still unable to do so.  Then the asshole had the nerve to jam his arm straight into her diaphragm and start demanding things of her.

“Who do you work for?”

Her mouth opened and closed repeatedly, like a poor fish that had been hauled out of the water, desperate to be thrown back in.

“I’ll ask again, who do you work for?” he bit out each word with precision.

Things began to turn grey and hazy as the lack of air finally took its toll on her brain.  She knew she was going to pass out.

Double crapitty crap!

Her head lolled to the side and...blink, lights out.

Jurek looked at her and cursed, “What the f**k?”

He hadn’t realized she was so close to losing it.  He laid her out on the floor and looked at her for a moment.  She wasn’t beautiful in that traditional, cookie-cutter sense, but there was something about her that enticed him.  Her chestnut mane for one, and Jurek had always been a sucker for women with beautiful hair, but those hazel eyes of hers were something else.  Her full lips were kissably soft, he thought, as he ran his thumb along her mouth.  He finally placed his hand on her forehead and in seconds, she came to, moaning.

Her eyes fluttered open and when the recognition in them flickered, those hazel eyes shot sparks of gold.  Hovering before her was the dark haired man from the bar.  She wouldn’t have had to open her eyes to know it was him since every cell in her body was on fire with his power.

Soft black hair hung close to his shoulders and he wore it brushed back off his face.  Liasare briefly wondered if it would feel as soft as it looked.  He had a bit of scruff on his face; he obviously hadn’t bothered to shave in the last couple of days.  His lips were full and sensuous and definitely made for kissing.  In fact, Liasare could imagine running her tongue along that lower lip of his, tugging on it and gently sucking it.  What made her nearly lose it were his eyes.  They were extraordinary.  Lavender, rimmed in indigo with flecks of silver swirling within their depths, Liasare had never seen anything so stunning in her life.

Regaining her senses, Liasare flew to her feet and threw a right uppercut that connected beneath Jurek’s jaw.  Had he been a lesser man, it would have laid him out.  Then she spun on her heel and began the motion for an intended groin kick, but his quick reflexes caught her leg before it connected and he flicked it off with his hand.

“You flaming asshole.  Who do you think you are?  You f**king knock the wind out of me and then you do it again for shits and giggles?  Who the hell do you think you are?”

“Watch your language and I’m asking the questions here.”

“Not anymore,” Liasare hissed as she turned to head out of the building.

Before she could take another step, an arm snaked out and grabbed her around the waist.  He pulled her tightly against his chest and whispered huskily into her ear, “I asked you a question.  I want to know who you’re working for and I don’t intend to let you go until I get an answer.”

His voice washed over her with that electrifying intense heat.  She felt her skin erupt in a million goose bumps as every hair on her body stood at attention.

Damn him, she thought.  How can he have this kind of power over me? F**k!

“You have no idea Brownie.”

“Brownie?

“Mmm.  Brownie.  For that glorious mane of hair you have.”  His hand spanned across her stomach and she felt a million butterflies suddenly erupt as he hugged her tightly against him.
“I’ll bet you taste better than one too.”  If she could have turned around she would have seen the corners of his mouth turn up as he baited her.

Thoughts of Liasare....by Jurek

I took one look at her and knew I was in serious trouble.  The way she went after those Xanthians and then later in the bar...well, it was my undoing.  I felt myself unraveling.  Not one thread at a time, but all at once.  She had complete control over me, though I didn’t let her know that.  I acted like the complete ass she accused me of being.  I had to.  It was either that or let my emotions overtake me and then I would have been absolutely worthless.  I hid behind that wall of pretensive callousness until she broke it down, brick by brick.  She accomplished what no other woman had been able to for quite some time. Everything about her turned my bones to liquid. Her thick mane of lustrous hair, those warm hazel eyes that shot golden sparks when she was fired up about something and her touch...God her skin was like silk.  I knew after one touch I had to have more.

It was sometimes amusing to watch her hide behind her facade of bravery.  She acted so tough when I knew all along she was frightened by everything. This was apparent in the foul language she liked to use. I told her I would keep her safe, but what I didn’t tell her was that I would go to any lengths to do so.  She didn’t trust me one bit and I understood why.  What she didn’t know...couldn’t know and wouldn’t know until I deemed it necessary was that she was mine and only mine and heaven help those who would try to keep her from me.

Here is the Playlist :D
