Today for my stop I am highlighting C&D @ Candy Coated Book Blog
I got to interview both lovely ladies that run this blog! I hope this helps and getting to know them and everyone should go check them out!
1.When and how did you decide to become a book blogger?
C-I have always wanted to become a blogger of some sort but I have never had the awesome push to do it. I am a total bookworm. D totally shoved me over the proverbial cliff without a safety net. I love her for it.
D-I was chatting to C about a book I was reading and I knew she liked to read too. Anyway I asked for recommendations and she gave me loads! I read them and soon had lots of people also asking me for them! I mentioned this to C and we decided to kill all the birds with one stone and say "Hey. Check out our blog and see what we're reading"
2.What’s the hardest part of being a book blogger?
C-I think the hardest part is trying to keep up. Between reviews, tours, reveals, postings, deadlines, contests, htmls. Not to mention trying to figure out how to get followers, more tours booked, waking up on time to post, figuring out lingo to get people from all other countries to understand you. Then I need to read more. Figure out how to use twitter and what to call twittererers...tweeters...or what not. And not offending anyone. And choosing book boyfriends. I always have to hear about Kellan. That's the hardest part!
D-The hardest part? Knowing the balance when giving a well critiqued review. You need to get it just right while remembering that no two people read the same book.
3.What are your hobbies that you do when you're not blogging?
C-I am a mommy of two a bookworm a photographer and a bonafide geek!
D-I love to bake. Sweet things mostly. Like cupcakes.

4.What are your favorite types of posts to do and/or read?
C-I love a good in depth review and I love Char interviews and different POV.
D-I love posting book reviews! I know C loves to do interviews and cover reveals. But for me it's the reviews. Because I'm honest, fair and fun.
5.How did you come up with your blog name?
D-It was a joint thing. We first decided on Sweet Treats. We had a habit of calling books a real treat or it was a sweet read. But after a friend suggested a name change we really loved what they came up with. Candy Coated was born!
6.What about your blog design? What inspired it?
D-A friend of mine is just getting into design and asked to have a play with it. Miranda Giles...we love you!
7.Who are your three favorite authors?
C-Fave three authors of all time hmm.... William Shakespeare (you said all time not right now), Marie, Coulson and Trisha LeighD-A friend of mine is just getting into design and asked to have a play with it. Miranda Giles...we love you!

8.Which author would you most like to meet (dead or alive)?
C-I would love love LOVE to meet BC Burgess. She is one of my author crushes and is a magical writer.
D-I would love to meet Edgar Allan Poe. His poetry is music to my ears. The Raven is an amazing one and I also love Rudyard Kipling.
9.How big is your TBR pile? How do you go about tackling it?
C-My tbr pile is over a billion books. I really don't know. I keep adding and forgetting to take away. I don't count them sometimes I close my eyes and choose some times I read on request. Sometimes its a cookbook and sometimes its a ya *shrugs* depends on the day
D-Oh it's HUGE! I have 471 books on there right now! I work my way through slowly...very slowly. But if something is recommended or requested for review, I put it to the top of the pile.
10.What are your top 3 books of all time and 3 Favorites from 2012.
C-Top three books of all time are a wrinkle in time, Charlotte's web and a mid summer nights dream
